I dedicated today to two individuals. First, to Dale who we met in Sandpoint. Dale is a 23 year survivor of testicular cancer and quite a nice guy. Second, I dedicated today to John, who we met at the cancer treatment center yesterday. I hope your treatment continues to go well!

The climb out of Grand Coulee began immediately and was unforgiving – especially the smell of wet dog.
Patches are beginning to look like I expected Washington to look!
